Custom Bore Size Option: This Option is perfect for Engine builders who do not want to unnecessarily oversize the cylinder bores on a block. You can increase the service life of a block by only honing what you need to remove taper and make the cylinders round again. Why bore .030 over when .003 or .005 will do? The extra $80.00 this option cost is nothing compared to replacing a block. With today's power levels leaving wall thickness in the cylinders can also help with power and longevity. Note: Always finish the cylinders and check availability of rings before ordering custom bore size. Obviously custom bore size pistons are non-returnable. Please indicate your final cylinder bore size in the notes section of the shopping cart check out. Do not indicate the piston skirt diameter. We need the engine block cylinder bore size.
