This part # is for a replacement single cylinder ring set. It includes one top ring, one second ring and a 3-piece oil ring set. Please specify the correct part # of the ring set you need a replacement for in the note section of the checkout page. We have a limited quantity of single cylinder sets in stock. Most will require special order. NOTE: Single cylinder ring sets are not returnable under any circumstances.

For Example: 8100-4030 CAUTION: Like a pair of shoes, best engine building practices dictate that pistons should be replaced in matched sets. That being said, single pistons are available. However, the following points must be understood and considered. DSS Racing pistons are normally manufactured in matched sets of 4, 6, 8 or 10, for this reason, it is less cost effective to purchase single pistons. They are made to order and are NOT RETURNABLE under any circumstances. Because the singles you are purchasing were not made at the same time your original pistons were made there will be variations that could effect their weight. They could be heaver or lighter than your original pistons. You will be required to do whatever it takes to match your other pistons weight, including potentially having to re-balance the rotating assembly. Single Piston Replacement Pro Pip: Do yourself a favor and inspect all your pistons and cylinders carefully before making the decision to buy single replacements. It is very common to order a single piston to replace an obviously damaged piston only to find out you need a few more. One or two replacements might make sense, more than that and it would have been more cost effective and better to replace the whole set.
